BAPTISM SOUVENIRS:
Once again, sa OLX ako nakakita ng magandang giveaways for the godparents. Super dami as in! Magsasalawahan ka, parang lahat the best talaga. Ang problema sa iba, they require minimum order which I understand, it's business.
Nakita ko yung paper shoe na perfect pang-souvenir para sa baptism. I called the owner of the ad Lea Morimonte, she's from Quezon City. I ordered 30 pieces, she asked for 50% deposit and we closed the deal. I also contacted her thru email. She offered me the explosion box, nag-send sya ng sample picture. Photo credit: Lea Morimonte
Then, before sya mag-print nung inorder ko, she sent me the layout for each side of the box. We exchange messages thru emails.
From these pictures that she sent me, I liked it very much. It's so cute, so sabi ko explosion box na lang yung orderin ko. When I got it, hindi ko in-expect na ang liit nya na parang I want more than this. Maganda sya pero hindi nya na-surpass yung expectation ko. Yung ibang shoe pa dun sa loob nung box, deformed, in short... hindi sya presentable. I want the visitors to feel na their presence is very important to me, kaya I want to give them the best. Parang yung explosion box is not enough to express my gratitude that they spent time with us during this special occasion.
And so, I searched for a new souvenir. Naghanap ako ng iba. I found PAPERkiosk, sa Rizal sila, the owner's name is Myra Paigones. Paperkiosk offers a lot of personalized giveaways. I ordered 10 pieces of personalized tent calendar for the godparents. There was an option for delivery pero mag-add daw ako ng P100. E since Cainta lang sila, I opted for pick-up. Medyo nahirapan ako hanapin yung lugar nila, at the back of my mind, sabi ko sana pina-ship ko na lang. :)
I was so satisfied with the finished product. Ito yung souvenir na gusto kong ibigay sa mga ninong at ninang at sa mga special guests ni Buchokoy. They can use it for the whole year of 2015, pinalagyan ko ng name ng bawat godparent saka each month ay may picture ni Buchokoy. Bale dalawa ang naging souvenirs ko! Saya!
I placed the giveaways in a paper bag which I bought from National Bookstore, para may lalagyan din sila nung candle at drip catcher, especially yung mga ninong na di nagdadala ng bag. :)

For my special guests, I ordered mini-tent calendar naman. Same design lang with the tent calendar, the only difference is, this is smaller. May sarili din syang paper bag which I ordered from Little Toons. The owner is Ms. Christine. Legit seller na mabait pa.

VAN FOR RENT:
Naisip ko we needed a van na maghahatid sa amin papunta sa simbahan at susundo sa amin pauwi ng bahay para sa lunch. Ayaw ko ng inconvenience sa part ng mga godparents and guests. I searched in OLX yung mga van for rent sa Antipolo. I texted the number listed on their ad, kasi sya yung nakita kong cheapest. I received a prompt response, his name is Allan. We just closed the deal thru text. He didn't ask for a downpayment. Ang gusto lang nya is hindi magka-cancel kasi irereserve na nya yung Feb 15 sa amin, He's professional and punctual. Nagkasya naman kami lahat sa loob hahahah. It was fun! :)

PHOTO COVERAGE:
Sa halos lahat ng mommy blogs na nabasa ko na nag-share ng experiences nila ng baptism ng babies nila, one of the things na hindi dapat kalimutan ay ang pag-capture ng moments. Maganda yung may babalikang mga pictures ng espesyal na okasyon na ito. Wala din ako maisip na pwedeng mag-picture sa araw na yun. Hiring a professional photographer is a good advice.
Madami sa OLX. Ang unang hinanap ko? ...ay yung cheapest syempre. It's Eliegraphy. They also have a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/eliegraphy. They have different packages to choose from, both for photo and video coverage. Thankful din ako kasi madali kausap yung photographer, si JP. Nag-inquire ako thru text. He gave the payment options. I deposited 50%. And that's it, the deal is closed. He's also very professional and punctual. Nauna pa sya dumating sa simbahan.
Ang reklamo ko lang, I have been texting the photog on when can we get the output but he is not replying, maybe he's busy, I don't know. But sana be courteous enough to respond to a customer.
I'll post Buchokoy's baptism and reception pictures probably by next week, the photog already replied and said he'll deliver the output by Wednesday of this week. :)
